Tanner is a native Arizonian and was born and raised in Tucson. He attended the University of Arizona and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Regional Development. Tanner’s family owned a Commercial Construction Landscape company called, Southwest Enviroscapes, where Tanner worked throughout High School in College, primarily in sales and estimating. In 2012, the family business merged with Santa Rita Landscaping and upon graduating college Tanner began to take on a larger role with the business.

Tanner currently serves as the CEO of Santa Rita Landscaping where he combines his passion for serving his team and clients with an intense focus on building the sustainable growth of the business and industry. In his time as CEO, Tanner has diversified the business offerings with a focus on Landscape Maintenance and expanded the company footprint in to the Phoenix market. A believer in “High tides lift all boats”, one of his goals in participating on the ALCA Board of Directors is to elevate the overall professionalism of the Green Industry in Arizona by raising awareness, education, and offering support to one another. Our industry is currently facing many unique challenges that may be difficult to overcome individually, but collectively there is nothing we cannot accomplish.

When not focused on his business, Tanner enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and dogs. They enjoy traveling and concerts, and you can often find Tanner playing a round of golf at one of our amazing courses throughout Arizona.
